A Fall Neighbourhood

A Fall Neighbourhood was a short game I was commissioned to make the entire artstyle for (EXCEPT the cars) by a client who wished to make a game that would capture his childhood nostalgia of going to the video store as a kid.

The game's colour palette was meant to reflect a dreamy sunset, exaggerating the pinks and golds. It includes no natural green in the environment, which I love.

The one thing I'm annoyed about in the game, my advice wasn't adhered to about inconsistent pixel sizes, the exteriors of the buildings in the game exhibit massive MIXELS.

The Interior tileset. I really love how this one turned, the ugly carpet especially.
